I am reposting this because there seems to be a lack of activity on the old discussion thread. I disabled Google Drive as suggested by a high level user from my previous thread but I am still getting crashes. I have upgraded to the latest Sierra release and reinstalled Sierra once. It can be stable for a half day then will crash repeatedly. Ever since I upgraded to macOS Sierra (10.12.1), I often get a black screen (with Apple light still on for a while) then shut down. I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15", late 2013) with a 2 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB Graphics. This problem still has not been resolved completely:
